Scientific papers can
now be submitted to the 36th World Vegetarian Congress, to be held in
Florianopolis, Brazil, November 8-14. More about the Congress at www.svb.org.br
or by phone numbers 55(48)234-8034 and 55(11)5041-2684.
Scientific papers are
those conducted according to a scientific method and meant for
publication. The papers will be evaluated by submitting the abstract,
which must be written following the indicated rules. The abstracts will
be evaluated by a scientific commission which reserves the right to
approve or refuse the paper. See below the abstract submission rules and
the proper abstract submission form (English and Portuguese).
The abstracts will be
accepted till October 11, 2004 and this date will not be postponed.
All presentations will be in poster form.

Rules for submitting
scientific papers for the
36th World Vegetarian

Rules for submitting SCIENTIFIC PAPERS for the
36th World Vegetarian Congress, Florianopolis, Brazil
1. The abstracts must be received by October 11, 2004.
2. At least one of the authors must be enrolled at the Congress for
abstract submission.
3. The scientific commitee reserves the right to accept or refuse the
proposed paper.
4. The abstract submission form is available for download (in MSWord
format) at http://www.nutriveg.com.br/formcong.htm. This is the only
accepted way to submit abstracts. After filling the form, the file
should be sent to congresso@nutriveg.com.br. Each file must contain only
one abstract and the email title must identify the first author's last
name and the paper title.
5. The abstracts must be written in Portuguese or English and cover the
following fields: title, authors, institution, introduction, methods,
results, conclusions and bibliographic references. The form format (font
size and design) for each item must be kept as in the original file and
the text size is limited to the delimited field.
6. The presentations will be exclusively POSTERS, to be mounted in cm x
cm ( in x in) panels and must contemplate the items: title, authors,
institution, introduction, methods, results, discussion, conclusions and
bibliographic references.
7. The posters will remain exposed from November 9th to 13th and the
authors must be present on the 12th, from 2 PM to 3 PM.
8. The selection results will be released on October 15th, 2004.
9. For each paper presented at the Congress, only one certificate will
be issued containing the paper title and authors' names.
