What  I can say about the Brazilian International  Vegan Festival has  already been said, or cannot be expressed by words at all! How can I describe the feeling of being home, without having to explain everything as if I was an alien like in everyday life, or the joy of  meeting so many lovely, open minded and openhearted people from all over the world, in a country where you never forget that life is meant to be joyful and full of colors, like a basket of exotic fruit? Words only sound rhetorical when trying to describe the energy underlying those days, which always follows vegan people joining together, and that energy was multiplied hundreds of times by the incredible amount of vegan declinations that Brazil provided us with...animal rights defenders from the whole country, philosophers, cooking demoes, health conferences, raw food, spiritual links and suggestions: not only did Rio surprise me with a wonderful range of options for vegan mouths, I also found great, deeply nourishing food for my vegan mind!I only wish it could be done all over again so as to attend the conferences I missed, talk to the people I could not get to know, all of whom seemed to hold something new and interesting to share, discover new ways of living in accordance to our nature and in peace with animals and the planet.

Those who say our life is boring should taste what we ate and what we discussed, all the laughters, the huggings, the thought-provoking meetings: I cannot think of a better salad with a tastier dressing, for my body and my soul!

So, what else can I say? Thank you Marly for making so beautiful moments real, or I'd rather say for mixing all the ingredients so well as to make a special Brazilian vegan blend! and thank you Bianca, Victor, Colin, Zalan, Adriana, Tiziana, Federico,Devis, Flavio and everyone else took part, for being there to prove how smoothly powerful veganism is...
