With a diverse program, which contemplated many of the issues that affect the main problems of Western societies today, that's it, global warming, destruction of Amazon forest - and other natural areas - use and contamination of water, destruction of biodiversity, hunger, social exclusion, social and ecologic footprint, ethics in alimentation (how to defend a meat centered diet that is not enough to everybody), health (main illness that kill are connected to this meat centered diet) and so on, the 12th International Vegan Festival had his Opening Ceremony in great style, with the presence, beside others, of the Dutch members of parliament, defenders of animals,
